We have seen this happening in some windows 2008 and windows 7 machine. Sometimes by default asp.net user does not have adequate permission to run some OfficeClip scripts resulting error on the screen. To provide access please do the following: - Right Click on the folder c:\program files\officeclip\8 folder (if you installed OfficeClip in the default location) and select Properties
- Select the Security Tab
- Add Network Service user (in windows XP, the user name is ASP.Net) and give this user full access
- Make sure that this access propagates to all the folders at the lower level
