This post provides an idea of how we do OfficeClip Releases:
- Major Releases - This usually happens every 12 to 18 months. Usually these are either major changes in terms of user interface, major features sets or architectural changes. Whenever this happens we change the major version number, so the next major release will be 9.1.1
- Minor Releases - This is normally done between 90 to 120 days. These are bug fixes, enhancements, new applications (beta) or new enhancements. Here we change the minor version number (e.g. from 8.1.1 to 8.2.1).
- Intermediate Builds - These may consist of bug fixes, minor enhancements and even some beta of new applications. This may happen between 14 to 30 days. Here we change the build number (e.g. from 8.1.1 to 8.1.2).
The above is followed as a guideline and sometimes situation demands to change our schedule. For the past release schedule see the following page: https://www.officeclip.com/web/releasenotes.html. |
