The demo database is pre-populated with data and it is a good way to test OfficeClip features (for local install). To activate the demo database on your version of OfficeClip, follow these procedure:
- Download the demo database from the OfficeClip website @ https://www.officeclip.com/web/download.aspx?id=/demo.zip
- Unzip and Restore this file to another database on your Sql Server. This can be accomplished by using the Sql Management Studio Express
- Run c:\program files\officeclip\8\octools.exe and then go to option 6 (Set Sql Server), change the database name, click on Apply and then Close the window.
Finally after testing you can change back to your original OfficeClip database by running the octools.exe as explained above.
Note: The folder c:\program files\officeclip\8 is only present for OfficeClip version 8.1.1 or higher (for lower version of OfficeClip use the c:\program files\officeclip\7 folder).

If you have a previous copy of the OfficeClip Demo Database in addition to the above commands you must run
c:\program files\officeclip\8\ocmd -c 1 (from a command prompt) and then double click on c:\program files\officeclip\8\log\index.html file and look at the latest log to make sure that there are no errors. |
