Login screen repeatedly saying incorrect password and forcing user to change it every day

We have noticed this problem when a customer reported that he has to change password in OfficeClip every day. For a while we searched the application to see if anything is wrong. Finally we noticed that this had happened because the customer was using the Google Chrome browser and the first password is saved in the Chrome password manager. Once that is done, Chrome will the supply password to the OfficeClip login screen. So if you have changed the password using another browser or not saved the new password in the Chrome, then Chrome will keep supplying the old password and OfficeClip will report that the password is incorrect, forcing you to change it every time. This is also true for other browsers like Firefox and password managers. To fix this problem, reset the password in your password manager. In Google Chrome's case it would be in Customize > Option > Minor Tweaks > Show Password Edited by moderator Friday, June 5, 2009 9:56:05 AM(UTC)
