I have 4 email accounts configured in OC.

3 are [email protected], 1 is [email protected]

All are set up identically for POP both on OC and in Gmail.

The gmail.com account will send but not receive. Testing the account in OC Email Account Setup records success, a test message appears in Gmail, but I now have a load of unread msgs in the inbox that OC isn't pulling down.

All other three accounts work beeeeauuuutifullyyyyyyyy!!

Any ideas?

Thx and best,

PDub

Please make sure that the Gmail POP account is activated.

  1. Go to Gmail > Settings

  2. Enable POP for all Email

  3. Within OfficeClip make sure that the SSL is selected and the port is 465

Yup, that's what I've got. Not working.

Any more thoughts?

Can you try the standard instructions in this link: https://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=13287

Also, what version of OfficeClip are you using?

Thanks

Been there, done that. That is where I got the info for setting up in the first place.

I am using OC 8.1.4.1 locally installed on an XP SP3 new box.

Thx and best,

I currently have 8.1.5 and it works fine. We have two options

  1. Upgrade your version to 8.1.5

  2. Email me your login and password (skd at officeclip dot com) and the url (if it can be publicly accessed) and I can take a look.

SK,

I have upgraded and it's still not working. My install is local so not accessible externally.

How do we proceed?

Thx and best,

Send me a personal email specifying your suitable time. I can come to your machine using remote desktop sharing and see the problem first hand. I am in Eastern Standard Time.
