If you are sending emails via OfficeClip Campaigns using your Gmail account, the first rule to follow is do not use Gmail to send automated emails. Google has made this process very difficult to discourage spammers. There are many other third-party SMTP servers that can be used very inexpensively (see below for more information). If you still want to use Gmail SMTP to send OfficeClip campaigns, make sure you check the following:

1. You are using the from address as your own Gmail account address.

2. You are not sending more than 100 emails per day. This limit is also not published by Google so it may or may not work.

3. Double check your recipient email address, if Google detects a lot of undelivered email addresses your account may be locked.

You can use other email accounts to send your mass emails to your contacts. We have tested with.

1. Amazon SES: Very inexpensive but monitors your emails closely for spams.

2. Elastic Email: Adds an unsubscribe link to the bottom of all emails if you do not have any.

3. Socketlabs: Allows 2000 free emails per month

4. You can use your own hosted SMTP server or use the one in IIS. However, if you send spams, your ip address will be blacklisted and your emails will end up in spam folder.
