If you want to restrict applications to a certain role, do the following:


  1. Login as administrator
  2. Click on the Setup toolbar button
  3. Click Organization Roles and Privileges >> Member Roles
  4. On the function column you will see the Block icon (only for user-defined role), click on the icon and block the required application.
